I don’t believe in dieting because it is only temporary therefor the solution is only temporary. For the most part loosing weight from a diet or plan, we lose a lot of muscle and water not just fat. Its not good for our bodies to suddenly change what we eat so drastically. Diets can help people for a while but unless your willing to constrict yourself to that diet for the rest of your life, your body is likely to go back to how it was when you stop the diet. You will also likely gain back much more fat then muscle after the diet which pretty much defeats the purpose.
Well that was a lot of negatives so now lets talk about how to have a healthier diet without dieting. I think the most important thing is to eat good foods not less foods. For example eating 3 big healthy meals a day is much better then going to a fast-food place once, not only is the quality of the food much better but you aren’t depriving yourself of the food your body needs to run at its best. My second tip is to fill up on water and avoid sugary drinks. Sometimes when we think we are hungry we are actually thirsty. You should aim to drink 8 cups of water a day. Water has so many great benefits like increasing energy and providing brain power, flushing out toxins, boosting our immune systems and it even helps to promote weight loss. The third tip is to treat yourself once in a while. Yes, keeping a healthy diet for the most part is super important but it is actually proven that you’re less likely to wind up feeling deprived if you have a sweet snack every so often. This also means that you are much less likely to find yourself in a binge-eating episode because your diet is balanced.
It is really up to you to figure out what works for your body but I hope these tips helped you get off to a good start!
